Hello, my name is Mike Cherniss and I am the owner of Heartbeat Entertainment. I’ve been providing quality, interactive DJ/MC entertainment for over 25 years. I started out in night clubs playing the hits of the 80’s and then in the 90’s is when the real fun began as I started performing in private events. Over the years I’ve had the great pleasure of performing in many Weddings, Bar-Mitzvahs, Holiday Parties, Company events, School Dances, Fund Raisers, Birthdays, Anniversaries, New Years Eve Parties and many other types of events.

With all of this experience I’ve learned that my job is not only entertaining with lots of humor, fun, and great dance music, but also, and most importantly, serving you and your guests will always come first with me at Heartbeat Entertainment. One way I enjoy serving your needs is the preplanning process. This is when I have the chance to hear what you envision for your event and it’s also the time when I can share some of my ideas that might help you in the event planning process. It is always my goal to fulfill and strive to exceed all of your expectations.

Living in the “melting pot” of Southern California all of my life means I’ve had the opportunity to entertain people from all over the world as well as many ethnicities and people of all ages. So to say the least it’s been a great opportunity for me to expand my ability to connect with individuals as well as large groups of people. It has also given me the opportunity to increase my ever growing music selection in ways the average DJ with less experience could not begin to consider. I have the ability to play music from the 40’s to today’s hits, to make sure everyone at your event has the time of there lives. I also love requests and special dedications. All of this gives me the chance to get to know your guests personally and truly create a unique event that you and your guests will be smiling about for years to come.
